Your right to privacy and your right to review information kept on file about you is protected by state and federal laws. The Minnesota Government Data Practices Act gives you the right to be informed about the information about you that is kept by us.
Whenever you are asked to give us private or confidential information about yourself, you must be told:
- The purpose and intended use of the information by this agency.
- If you are legally required to give us the information.
- What will or might happen if you give us the information, and what will or might happen if you do not give us the information.
- The identity of other persons or agencies who may legally see the information.
