This dataset consists of lines that represent the surface topography of Dakota County. Both were created from LiDAR collected in 2011.
2-foot contours
LiDAR and two-foot contour data collected in 2011 is available for free on the MnGEO (Minnesota Geospatial Information Office) ftp site.
The elevation data is available in geodatabase, las and laz files in regular tiles.

All data is subject to the Dakota County Data Agreement.
All data subscriptions are subject to the GIS Data Subscription Agreement.
GIS data is delivered in a DWG format for use in AutoCAD® or as ESRI® Shapefiles. Data is in the 
Dakota County coordinate system.
