Borrowing Materials
Licensed attorneys, judges and Dakota County Government employees may borrow books and other print items. Most items are available for a 5-day loan.
You cannot connect to the electronic databases from outside the library. Westlaw, Lexis and Loislaw can be used only in the library.
Photocopier
Our photocopier makes single-sided copies at 15 cents per page.
Computer PrintoutsComputer printouts are also 15 cents per page.

We will send or receive faxes that are under 21 pages.
- Incoming faxes cost 15 cents per page. Outgoing faxes are free.
- Please do not send court documents or pleadings for filing to the Law Library. We cannot file them for you.
