18-Year Old Charged With Incident at Burnsville High School
1-24-08 Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom announced that Scott Orion Cooper, age 18 of Savage, has been charged* with one count each of Terroristic Threats, Possession of a Firearm on School Property, and Possession of a Firearm Without a Permit in connection with an incident at Burnsville High School on January 22, 2008, during an after school activity. Backstrom indicated that a 17-year old Bloomington youth is also under investigation in connection with this incident. For more information, see the attached news release.
