Lakeville Woman Sentenced for Stealing Funds at an Elementary School
| [August 18, 2010] Dakota County Attorney James C. Backstrom announced that Lisa Bostic Miller, age 45 of Lakeville, was sentenced today to 30 days in jail and probation for seven years by Judge Caroline Lennon. Miller pled guilty June 21, 2010, to one count Theft by Swindle (a felony) and one count of Theft by Swindle Temporary Control (a misdemeanor) in connection with Miller’s theft in excess of $9,000 while serving as treasurer of the Parent/Teacher Organization of Oak Hills Elementary School in Lakeville from May 2007 through May 2009. |
