Charges Filed in Connection with Triple Fatal Crash in Lakeville
| [April 26, 2010] Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom announced that a 17-year-old youth from Rice County has been charged* with Careless Driving (a misdemeanor) in connection with a crash in Lakeville which occurred on County Road 50 near Ipava Avenue on December 12, 2009. The crash resulted in the deaths of Debra Ann Buhmann, age 34 of Lakeville, Shirley Ann Iverson, age 71 of Lakeville, and Alexis Rose Iverson-Ferkul, age 8 of Lakeville. (Shirley Iverson was the mother of Debra Buhmann and grandmother of Alexis Iverson-Ferkul; and Debra Buhmann was the aunt of Alexis Iverson-Ferkul). |
