Inver Grove Heights Daycare Provider Sentenced for Failure to Report Husband's Criminal Sexual Conduct
| [April 30, 2009] Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom announced that Deborah Marie Schneider, age 43 of Inver Grove Heights has been sentenced today to 10 days of sentence to serve, probation for one year, and 30 hours community work service by Judge Leslie Metzen in connection with failing to report that her husband, Christopher John Schneider, age 49, had sexually abused an almost 3-year-old in her licensed home daycare. The defendant’s wife Deborah Schneider who ran the daycare, was found guilty by court trial on March 30, 2009 of Failure to Report Child Abuse by a Mandated Reporter, a misdemeanor.
