Northfield Man Sentenced for Attempted Kidnapping of a Child in Lakeville
| [February 17, 2009] Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom announced that Ross Matthew Wenner, age 28 of Northfield, was sentenced today by Judge Kathryn Messerich in connection with the attempted abduction of a twelve-year-old girl in Lakeville on July 11, 2007. Wenner pleaded guilty on December 18, 2007 to Attempted Kidnapping and Solicitation of a Child to Engage in Sexual Conduct. Wenner was sentenced to a total of 79.5 months in prison (15 of which will be consecutive to another sentence he received in Scott County). |
