What is the supervision fee for an adult who is on probation? 

  • Misdemeanor offense - $256
  • Gross misdemeanor and felony offenses - $335

If you have questions regarding payment of this fee, contact your probation officer.

Depending on individual circumstances, the Court may also order you to receive services or attend programs that charge fees.  These may include, but are not limited to:

  • Safe Streets First (Repeat DWI Offenders)
  • Electronic Home Monitoring (EHM)
  • Polygraphs
  • Urinalysis and drug tests
  • Sex offender programming
  • Domestic abuse programming
  • Domestic abuse assessments
  • Chemical health assessments
  •  Impact/MADD Panels

If your sentence includes jail time, there will be a jail bed fee

What is the fee for a juvenile who is on probation?

Juveniles are not assessed a supervision fee.  However, depending on individual circumstances, fees may be charged for other court ordered services.  These may include, but are not limited to:

  • Electronic Home Monitoring (EHM)
  • Counseling/therapy services
  • Polygraphs
  • New Chance (day treatment program)
  • Residential treatment (including secure facilities)

Fees for juvenile services are collected by the Employment and Economic Assistance (E&EA) Fee Collections Unit.  Their number is 651-554-5059.


Is there a cost if my child is ordered by the Court to live somewhere other than my home?

If the Court determines that your child should be placed outside the home, costs may apply.  Call the Employment and Economic Assistance (E&EA) Fee Collections Unit at 651-554-5059 for information on costs.
