Archery Instructor teaching man and boyThis state-of-the-art archery trail provides unique opportunities for archers to test their skills in the real environment. The Archery Trail is located at the Lower Spring Lake Park Reserve Trailhead in Spring Lake Park Reserve.  (Map and driving directions)

Hours
  • May 3 (weather dependant, could open earlier) - Nov. 29
  • Trail hours: 8 a.m. to sunset

Fees

  • Daily Pass: $5
  • Individual Adult Season Pass (18 years and older): $32.14 ($30+$2.14 tax)
  • Individual Youth Season Pass (Ages 17 and under): no pass required 

Purchasing a new pass
A pass is required to use the archery trail. Failure to purchase a pass could result in citation and fine. The pass fee is due at the time of purchase. Passes are available as follows:

  • Daily pass ($5)
    • may be purchased at the trailhead
    • exact cash or check only (payable to Dakota County Parks)
    • no attendant on duty
  • Season pass ($32.14)
    • goes on sale April 1
    • can be purchased by mailing in an application or by calling 952-891-7000
    • checks accepted by mail application only; VISA, MasterCard and Discover accepted for both mail application and over the phone

Renewing a pass

  • Once you have purchased a season pass, you can renew a pass online or by phone at 952-891-7000 (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.).
  • VISA, MasterCard and Discover accepted
  • Pass fee due at time of renewal

Refund policy

  • No refund on pass purchases
