The model airplane flying field provides an area for flyers to fly their planes in a park setting. The Model Airfield is located adjacent to the
Schaar's Bluff Trailhead in
Spring Lake Park Reserve, Hastings, Minnesota. (

A season pass is required to use this facility. A daily pass is not available.
Hours
- May 3 (weather dependant, could open earlier) - Nov. 29
- Flying hours: 8 a.m. to sunset
- Park hours: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Fees
- Individual Adult Season Pass: $42.85 ($40+$2.85 tax)
- Individual Youth Season Pass (Ages 17 and under) no permit required.
Purchasing a pass
- Season passes go on sale April 1
- Complete and submit an application
- Provide additional information as required (see application)
