Lebanon Hills best in metro
The City Pages editorial staff has picked Lebanon Hills Regional Park as the 2008 Best Public Park in the metro area.
Lebanon Hills beat out Como Park in St. Paul because it offers “real nature, a sense of wildness, and genuine adventure.” City Pages also cited the wealth of outdoor activities available including mountain biking, canoe and kayak rentals, and camping as reasons the park “can’t be beat.”
The park has more than 14 miles of trails on its nearly 2,000 acres. Lebanon Hills Visitors Center is open six days a week – 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
