Event Recycling
Say goodbye to garbage

Dakota County, in partnership with Dakota Valley Recycling, is making recycling more convenient for its residents everywhere they turn. Not only have improvements been made to accept more items in curbside recycling carts, but the County is working hard to ensure people recycle away from their homes as well.

By providing recycling bins at a variety of community events, the County and Dakota Valley Recycling hope to see many more plastic containers, aluminum cans and glass bottles kept out of the trash.

Recycling bins can be found at the following events this year:

Music in Kelley Park
When: June 7, 14 and 21, and July 5, 12, 19 and 26
Where: 6855 Fortino St., Apple Valley

Eagan’s July 4th Funfest
When: July 3–4
Where: 1501 Central Parkway, Eagan

Burnsville Fire Muster
When: Sept. 4–9
Where: Throughout Burnsville
