Any resident of Dakota County can apply for a card online by going to the
Dakota County Library Online Registration page. Fill out the web form and click
Register for a new library card.
Filling out the form only registers you for a card. In order to validate the card, please come to any of the nine Dakota County Library Branches or South St. Paul Library. Acceptable identification with current address is needed.
The temporary barcode given after you complete the form cannot be used to place holds or check out books.
