Gather up your crayons, colored pencils, markers and paint brushes to craft a creative masterpiece for the Bookawocky Art Contest.
Bring out your inner Van Gogh or Picasso and share your artistic style by developing a drawing, painting or collage that interprets the theme, “Read, Explore, Connect.”
Entries can be no larger than 11 inches by 17 inches and be able to hang on a wall or bulletin board. Drop off entries and a completed
Bookawocky Art Contest Entry Form at any Library location from June 17–July 20.
First-, second- and third-place awards will be given in two age groups, kids ages 5–8 and 9–12.
The art contest is sponsored by the Dakota County Library Foundation.
