No matter where you are in your financial stage of life—just starting out, building up or saving to make it last—Dakota County Library is ready to help you with the “Know Your Money” program series running through April 2013.
The series shifts to programs designed for adults with topics including understanding credit, budgeting, investing basics, stretching food dollars, long term savings, avoiding frauds and scams, health care rules and more.
In April 2013, a Know Your Money resource fair will feature keynote speaker Gail Marks Jarvis, award-winning personal finance columnist for the Chicago Tribune.
This series is available due to a grant from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Investor Education Foundation as part of the American Library Association’s (ALA) Smart investing@your library® initiative.
