​Dakota County teens showed their writing skills in the annual Short Story Contest. Teens wrote a 1,000-word story based on an image. Winners were recently announced.

The Teen Short Story Contest was made possible through financial support from the Dakota County Library Foundation.

2012 Teen Short Story Contest Winners
Age 12–14

• 1st Place: Lindsey Harris, age 13, Wescott, Seedfolks
