Ski Trail Patrol

Dakota County Parks is no longer seeking applications for the ski trail patrol.

Enjoy the outdoors while helping park visitors with questions and first aid care.  Be part of the Volunteer Ski Patrol Team at Lebanon Hills Regional Park, Spring Lake Park Reserve or Whitetail Woods Regional Park.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age 16 years
  • Good physical fitness and customer service skills
  • Intermediate skiing skill level
  • Completion of all required training


Required training
(Volunteers must complete all training before working as patrol.)

Thursday, Nov. 6, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Certification in Adult/Child CPR
Tuesday, Nov. 11, 6-9 p.m.
Lebanon Hills Visitor Center

Certification in Basic First Aid
Tuesday, Nov. 18, 6-9:30 p.m.
Lebanon Hills Visitor Center

Annual All Patrol Meeting
Thursday, Dec. 4, 6:30-8 p.m.
Lebanon Hills Visitor Center

Time commitment
The Volunteer Ski Patrol helps in the park from Nov. 1–March 31 every year. Volunteers are asked to commit to 25 hours per ski season, including one special event.

Complete and submit a Volunteer Application (currently unavailable). A criminal background check is required for this position. A disclosure/authorization form will be made available to applicants.
