Due to the winter storm, all Dakota County buildings are closed to the public Thursday, Feb. 23 to ensure the safety of visitors and staff. The county is under a winter storm warning, and driving conditions are expected to worsen.
That includes service and license centers, library and park buildings, The Recycling Zone, and the Administration Center. Virtual county appointments will remain open. Dakota County District Court hearings will be remote — in-person services will be closed.
The county plans to reopen Friday, Feb. 24.
County parks remain open for outdoor use. Ski trails will not be groomed until Friday. Check trail conditions online.
