Dakota County adheres to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Minnesota Huma​n Rights Act and related laws.

In reference to these laws, the county does not discriminate based on:

File a complaint

If you are a member of the public and believe you've been discriminated against, you can file a complaint with Dakota County. If you are a Dakota County employee, contact Human Resources directly.

You must send complaints no more than 180 days after the alleged incident. This is unless the processing agency extends the time for filing.  

The county encourages complainants to submit complaints via our online complaint form or directly contacting the Civil Rights Coordinator or ADA Coordinator.
