County Project 28-66
Dakota County and the City of Inver Grove Heights are improving the pedestrian crossings on County Road 28. The project is from Bowman Avenue to 500 feet west of Cahill Avenue.
This project will ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and improve safety by replacing pedestrian curb ramps.

Access
Drivers should expect temporary lane closures, flaggers and delays throughout the project. Please allow extra time for travel, watch for construction signage and be cautious while driving through the construction area.
The west driveway to parking lot and east exit at Simley High School is closed.
Traffic will be down to one lane in each direction during construction.
Construction schedule
July 5–12
- Pouring concrete and patching in asphalt
No work will be done on Friday, July 4.
