​Summer Discover​y Chess Club

Join us in the children's area for fun, casual games of chess. Play against our summer Volunteens or with other kids. All levels are welcome. For youth ages 6 and older.

Test your building skills with a monthly Lego challenge and then display your epic creations at the library until the next Lego Club. For youth ages 6–12.

​​Pipes and Pressure: ​Waterways

Drop-in to explore engineering by building waterways with PVC pipes. Create a variety of waterways and experiment with boats, table runs, mini ducks and ping pong balls. Come prepared to get wet. Presented by Melon Seeds. For youth ages 6 and older with their caregivers. Event will be held outside on the west side of the library.

​The Rex and Mr. Fox Show

Join Minnesota authors and illustrators David LaRochelle and Mike Wohnoutka as they share their latest funny picture books "Go and Get with Rex" and "Mr. Fox's Game of “NO!"" Help Mike as he creates amazing pictures right before your eyes. Join Rex in a rousing game of “Go and Get" and try your best to avoid all of Mr. Fox's sneaky tricks. You will not want to miss this silly storytime. For youth ages 3 and older with their caregivers. Presented in partnership is MELSA.
