Notice is hereby given that a public hearing has been scheduled to receive comments on the proposed list of projects eligible for Transportation Sales and Use Tax funds to reflect transportation system needs and recent changes to transportation revenue sources. The public hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Dec. 2, 2025 in the Dakota County Boardroom, Administration Center, 1590 Highway 55, Hastings.
Anyone interested in attending the public hearing has the right to provide written or oral comments.

Dakota County implemented a quarter-cent sales tax and $20 excise tax on new vehicle sales to fund much needed Dakota County transit and transportation projects. The list of eligible projects for use of the tax may be amended by the Board of Commissioners following a public hearing.
