Rules for on-leash dogs

All rules for on-leash dogs are listed in the Park Ordinance.

  • Dogs are required to be on a 6-foot (nonretractable) leash at all times.
  • Owners are required to clean-up and throw waste away in trash bins.
  • Dogs are not permitted on mountain bike, equestrian and cross-country ski trails; inside park facilities; or at swimming beaches. 
  • Don't leave your dog unattended or tethered to a tree, bench or other park feature.
  • Skijoring and dogsledding are permitted on designated trails only.
  • Bikejoring, in-line skating and skateboarding with a dog on-leash is not allowed​.​
