Treated Wood & Lumber

Garbage  Some lumber is treated to protect it from water damage and prevent rot. It can create environmental problems when burned. Bring treated wood – including railroad ties, green treated and pressure treated wood – to a landfill. Do not burn.

Treated wood is also accepted at the following businesses. Call first.
