What to expect for saliva, nasal and at-home tests
Testing sites are designed to keep you and health care workers safe. On your testing day, you'll be guided through the testing site. All tests will be done by a professional medical team.
When you arrive, you'll be asked to confirm your appointment by providing your name. If you don't have an appointment, let the health care worker know. If you have an insurance card, you'll be asked for it. Insurance is not required for a test.
Why you should get tested
Testing is one of the best ways to control the spread of COVID-19. Anyone with
COVID-19 symptoms or anyone who has been around someone with symptoms should be tested.
What you should bring with you
If you have an insurance card, please bring it with you. Insurance cards and IDs are not required to get tested.
After the test
You should receive your test results 1–3 days after your test day. It's possible that the wait time may be longer depending on the number of tests conducted.
If you feel sick, please stay home and away from others. If you don't feel sick, please still wear a mask in public and keep 6 feet of distance between you and other people.
