Make an appointment
To make an appointment, call 612-223-8838.
When you call, someone will help you find a day and time that works best for you. They will ask for your name and phone number to confirm your appointment. You can make an appointment for yourself, family members and friends.
Why you should get tested
Testing is one of the best ways to control the spread of COVID-19. Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms or anyone who has been around someone with symptoms should be tested.
What you should bring with you
If you have an insurance card, please bring it with you. Insurance cards and IDs are not required to get tested.
How the test will look and feel
Testing sites are designed to keep you and health care workers safe. On your testing day, you'll be guided through the drive-thru. You will not have to leave your car to get tested. If you don't have a vehicle – or would like to walk through – we will have a station set up for you. Enter the drive-thru by turning onto Horizon Drive from Cliff Road, by El Loro restaurant.
When you arrive, you'll be asked to confirm your appointment by providing your name. If you have an insurance card, you'll be asked for it. Insurance is not required for a test.
All tests will be done by a professional medical team. The test involves a short nose swab (looks like a Q-tip). The swab will be put in your nose and left there for 10 seconds. The swab will feel awkward and might make you sneeze, but it is not painful. After you're swabbed, you are done.
After the test
You should receive your test results 3–7 days after your test day. It's possible that the wait time may be longer depending on the number of tests that are conducted daily around the state.
If you feel sick, please stay home and away from others. If you don't feel sick, please still wear a mask in public and keep 6 feet of distance between you and other people.
If your test shows that you do not have COVID-19, you will receive an email, text or phone call as soon as results are available. If your test shows that you have COVID-19, a team member will call you to discuss what next steps you should take to keep yourself and loved ones safe.
If you have any questions about getting tested, please call us at 612-223-8838.
