Rural Dakota County Man Pleads Guilty to Criminal Vehicular Homicide - Keri James Gesme

Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom announced that Keri James Gesme, age 27, of Hampton Township, pled guilty today to one count of Criminal Vehicular Homicide (a felony) in connection with a crash that occurred on November 8, 2012 in Hampton Township on Highway 50 just outside of New Trier, that took the life of Dennis Paul Underwood, age 27, of Cannon Falls.  Judge Karen Asphaug ordered a pre-sentence investigation and psychological evaluation and set the sentencing for February 18, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. in Hastings.  The two additional counts of Criminal Vehicular Homicide will be dismissed at the time of sentencing.
