People who live or work in Dakota County are invited to participate in the Master Recycler/Composter class this spring. Classes will be held Thursdays, April 11–May 16, from 6:30–9 p.m. at the Dakota County Western Service Center, 14955 Galaxie Ave., Apple Valley.
Meet others who are excited about waste reduction. Learn about recycling, hazardous waste and composting from regional experts and take trips to recycling facilities. After completing the course, participants volunteer 30 hours on individual projects or with other Master Recycler/Composters and county staff.
The registration deadline is April 9. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. A $30 fee covers course materials and optional field trip transportation. Scholarships are available.
For more information or to register, visit the Master Recycler/Composter page or contact Jenny Kedward at 952-891-7043 or email@example.com.
