Dakota County Commissioner Joe Atkins is hosting public listening sessions on Sept. 23 at the Robert Trail Library in Rosemount and the Inver Glen Library in Inver Grove Heights.
The listening sessions will give the public the opportunity to learn more about county projects and initiatives, address any issues and meet other citizens. Atkins will provide a brief update on county business before opening the floor to take questions and listen to concerns.
The Robert Trail Library session is from 10-11 a.m. and the Inver Glen Library session is from 1-2 p.m. Both events are free and open to everyone.
“These types of events provide great opportunities to hear what people think of the job we’re doing,” Atkins said. “It’s important to get that feedback and stay engaged with our residents.”
Atkins has been the commissioner of District 4 – serving parts of Inver Grove Heights, Rosemount and Eagan – since the beginning of 2017.
Robert Trail Library is located at 14395 South Robert Trail, and its phone number is 651-480-1200. Inver Glen Library is located at 8098 Blaine Avenue East, and its phone number is 651-554-6840.
