The County Road 26 improvement project will support regional transportation needs in the cities of Eagan and Inver Grove Heights. The project includes expanding the rural highway section of County Road 26 from two lanes to four lanes. It will also include an evaluation of the current and future conditions for the intersection of 70th Street and County Road 63, among other things.
Dakota County, along with the cities of Eagan and Inver Grove Heights, is holding an open house for this project on Nov. 6 at Veterans Memorial Community Center, located at 8055 Barbara Avenue in Inver Grove Heights. The event will run from 4:30–6 p.m. in Community Room #1.
There will not be a formal presentation during this open house. Project representatives will be on hand to answer questions and share information about the project. Attendees will also have the opportunity to provide feedback about this project.
