Help available for Somalis in need of health insurance

Two MNsure enrollment workshops are planned this month to help those who may still be eligible to sign up for health insurance.

Somali-speaking staff will be available to help Somalis who are eligible. You may be eligible to enroll if you are eligible for Medical Assistance or Minnesota Care. Your income can range up to $64,762 a year depending on the size of your family and age of people being insured.

You may also be eligible if you have recently gone through a qualifying life event such as adoption, birth of a child, marriage or loss of health insurance.

The workshops will be held from noon–4 p.m. Wednesdays, June 18 and 25, at Chancellor Manor, 14250 Irving Ave. S., Burnsville.

To schedule an appointment during the workshops, contact Somali Health Solutions at 1-855-566-7873 or
