Dakota County residents can get help repairing lamps, mending sweaters, winterizing garden tools and more at an upcoming Fix-It Clinic on Saturday, Oct. 21 from noon-3 p.m. at the Heritage Library in Lakeville.
Repair-savvy volunteers will guide residents through each step, from troubleshooting to a completed repair. Bring up to five items that need fixing or mending. Common items brought to clinics are radios, vacuums and clothes.
Fix-It Clinics help reduce unnecessary trash sent to landfills and empower individuals by teaching troubleshooting and repair skills.
