Dakota County earned sixth place in the 2017 Digital Counties Survey, conducted by the Center for Digital Government and the National Association of Counties.
The annual survey recognizes leading examples of counties using technology to improve services and boost efficiencies. Dakota County was the only Minnesota county to be named to the list.
Dakota County was sixth in the 250,000-499,999 population category. This marks the 12th time Dakota County has been named in the survey’s 15-year history. See a full list of winners.
