Individuals who live or work in Dakota County can learn about recycling, hazardous waste, composting and more by participating in the Master Recycler/Composter class this spring.
In-person classes will be held Tuesdays, March 15–April 19, from 6:30–8:30 p.m. at the Dakota County Northern Service Center, 1 Mendota Road W., West St. Paul. A $30 fee covers course materials and optional transportation to visit recycling facilities. Scholarships are available.
Once classes are complete, participants volunteer 30 hours, putting their skills to work on individual projects or with other Master Recyclers and Composters and county staff.
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information or to register, visit the Master Recycler/Composter page or contact Jenny Kedward at 952-891-7043 or jenny.kedward@co.dakota.mn.us.
