Master Recycler/Composter
Mastering the art of recycling

Registration is open for the last Master Recycler/Composter class of the year at Lebanon Hills Regional Park.

Join the class to learn more about reducing waste and recycling at home and work. Participants join together to create a pool of knowledgeable residents who help teach others. The class meets once a week for three hours over a six-week period. They will learn from experts, receive a detailed handbook, engage in hands-on demonstrations and go on field trips. Once classes are complete, participants volunteer 30 hours putting their skills to work.

Classes will be held from 6–9 p.m. on Thursdays, from Oct. 6–Nov. 11 at the Lebanon Hills Visitor Center located at 860 Cliff Road in Eagan. A $30 fee covers course materials and optional field trip transportation.

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and classes do fill quickly. For more information or to apply for the classes, visit the Master Recycler page or call Jenny Kedward at 952-891-7043. The deadline for registration is Oct. 4.
