Dakota County farmers and rural residents are invited to an Ag Townhall to provide feedback on proposed solutions to reduce agriculture chemicals, such as nitrate in drinking water, for the county's Agricultural Chemical Reduction Effort (ACRE) Plan.
The Ag Townhall is scheduled for Wednesday, March 2 from 5–7 p.m. at the Dakota County Extension and Conservation Center, 4100 220th St. W., Farmington. If you cannot attend in person, provide your feedback in a brief online survey on the Agricultural Chemical Reduction Effort webpage.
Dakota County's groundwater programs protect our drinking water by reducing pollution from industrial, residential and agricultural land uses.
