Dakota County, in partnership with the City of Lakeville, is modifying County Road 9 (Dodd Boulevard) at Icenic Trail/Heritage Drive intersection from full to partial access in Lakeville. The intersection conversion will improve intersection operations and safety while accommodating increased traffic levels.
The project will include the addition of a southbound right-turn lane from County Road 9 (Dodd Boulevard) to westbound Icenic Trail. A mill and overlay is also included as part of the project from County Road 50 (Kenwood Trail) north to Ideal Way, which will tie in to the already started mill and overlay of Dodd Boulevard from Ideal Way to just north of 194th Street.
Expect delays and temporary lane closures.
Flagging operations may be necessary to safely move traffic through the area for some of the construction activities. For the safety of both the residents and the workers, please be patient.
