County Road 28 (Yankee Doodle Road) from Highway 13 to County Road 31 (Pilot Knob Road) in Eagan will be rehabilitated. Several inches of the existing pavement will be removed, or milled, and replaced with new asphalt. Other work includes minor utility adjustments.
Signal systems will be replaced along County Road 28 at the following intersections: Blue Cross Road, Coachman Road, and Central Parkway/Federal Drive. Sections of the walk/trail at the intersections will be replaced to provide better access to the pedestrian push buttons for the signal systems. In addition, a right turn lane will be constructed on eastbound County Road 28 at Federal Drive.
Expect delays and temporary lane closures. Signal systems may be on flashing red (all-way stop) temporarily for some of the construction activities. For the safety of both the residents and the workers, please be patient.
