Pedestrian ramps in various locations will be reconstructed to provide a shorter distance for pedestrians to cross and allow better sight distance for vehicles. The work will include reconfiguration of curb and gutter, sidewalk, and relocation of existing utilities within the work area.
Locations
- Location 1: Pedestrian ramps in northeast quadrant and southeast quadrant of Butler Avenue W. (County Road 4) and Seminole Avenue in West St. Paul. Work on this location is complete. Thank you for your patience and cooperation throughout this project.
- Location 2: Pedestrian ramps located in northwest quadrant of Oakdale Avenue (County Road 73) and Moreland Avenue E. and south of entrance to St. Croix Lutheran Church on Oakdale Avenue (County Road 73) in West St. Paul. Work on this location is complete. Thank you for your patience and cooperation throughout this project.
- Location 3: Main Street (County Road 62) at the pedestrian crossing in front of St. John the Baptist School and Church in Vermillion.
- Work on this location has been postponed to summer 2023.

Traffic Impacts:
Sidewalk
Expect the adjacent sidewalk at the above locations to be closed in middle of July 2022. Please use alternate routes during this time.
Roadway
Expect temporary shoulder closures while work is taking place. Trucks will be entering and exiting the roadway in various locations throughout the project limits. Please use caution when driving through this area.
