Dakota County and the City of Eagan are in the design phase for a safety and operation improvement project at the intersection of County Road 31 (Pilot Knob Road) and County Road 32 (Cliff Road) in the Eagan.
The project consists of constructing dual left turn lanes at all four approaches to increase vehicle capacity as the traffic volumes increase on both of these county roadways. Other components of this project include: replacement of the aging traffic signal and lighting, storm sewer and pedestrian crossing improvements.
Construction is planned for the summer of 2022.
