Dakota County and the City of Lakeville are partnering on planning and design efforts for the reconstruction of Dodd Boulevard and construction of new County Road 9 (179th Street) in 2022. The two projects are the culmination of many years of planning and design efforts. A number of studies and projects have occurred with the Dodd Boulevard improvements and the new County Road 9 (179th Street) realignment in mind.
The scope of work includes preliminary engineering designs, surveying, traffic analysis, public participation and final engineering designs to serve as a basis for jurisdictional transfer between Dakota County and the City of Lakeville.

Open House #1 – Aug. 27, 2020
Due to COVID-19, project information will be shared online on this project webpage. The public is encouraged to participate in the online open house. The online open house includes a project summary relating to construction impacts, project phasing, project design and provides the public an opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback.
