Dakota County and the City of Lakeville are partnering to coordinate planning efforts and identify required improvements to serve as a basis for the jurisdictional transfer of two roadway segments in the City of Lakeville — County Road 9 (Dodd Boulevard) and 179th Street.
The scope of work includes preliminary feasibility study and analysis of intersection and roadway improvements, preliminary engineering designs, surveying and cost estimates to serve as a basis for jurisdictional transfer between Dakota County and the City of Lakeville.

Construction from Cedar Avenue to Pilot Knob Road is scheduled for July-September 2020. Design for Dodd Boulevard will begin in spring 2020, and construction is scheduled for summer 2022.
