Due to the weather forecast, the MNSure workshop at the Pleasant Hill Library scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 20 has been canceled. A make-up date will be scheduled.
Dakota County Community Services is holding MNsure workshops to assist individuals and families who are applying for insurance through Minnesota's health insurance marketplace.
The workshops are a partnership with the Dakota County Library, Portico Healthnet and CLUES.
Workshops will be held from 6–8 p.m. on the following dates:
- Tuesday, Feb. 25, Heritage Library - 952-891-0360
- Wednesday, March 5, Robert Trail Library - 651-480-1200
- Tuesday, March 11, Wentworth Library - 651-554-6800
A certified application counselor will help attendees set up a MNsure account online, guide them through the application and answer any questions they might have. Anyone interested in attending should bring the names, dates of birth, incomes and Social Security numbers of anyone in their household applying for health care coverage information on any employer-sponsored insurance available to you even if you/family are/is not enrolled in coverage.
Registration is required by calling a specific Library branch to sign up for its workshop.
