One in 68 children in America is diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Join us at special Autism Awareness Month programs — Autism 101 and “Faces of Autism” — to learn about the basics of this disorder and how families, schools and the medical community can work together to educate and support those with ASD.
“Faces of Autism”
Go beyond autism awareness to autism admiration and what that looks like. Local author and photographer Tera Girardin will help you see the beauty and magic of those with autism and be inspired to be a part of the autism admiration movement. Girardin will sign and sell her book, “Faces of Autism”. A Minnesota Legacy program sponsored by Minnesota’s Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund.
