Creative Mending
Learn a handful of decorative embroidery stitches that you can use to mend small tears and holes in all kinds of fabrics. Gather an item you'd like to fix up and some extra scraps of fabric for practice. A kit with materials needed for the workshop will be mailed to you prior to the event. Create a variety of machine-worked buttonholes and learn how to align them in an even row. Practice the basics of making fabric loops, fancy tailored buttonholes, and other closure methods.
