You can make reservations on the Spaces website. You will need to create an account, but it does not require a library card.
Some Dakota County Library iLAB workstations will allow reservations up to two hours, including the sewing machine, audio production, video production, creative design PC, paper cutter and fabric cutter. All other iLAB workstations allow reservations up to 4 hours, including the 3-D scanner; 3-D printer; creative iMac; photo, slide, and negative conversion; and the VHS-to-DVD conversion stations.
You may reserve more than one workstation at a time. For instance, you could reserve the 3D printer from 1–5 p.m. and while your object is printing, you could use the iMac from 1:30–5 p.m.
All iLAB equipment use must be completed 30 minutes prior to library closing time. Please arrive on time for your reservation. If you are late, you may risk losing your reservation if others are waiting to use the equipment.
Reservations require a signed or digitally signed waiver by an adult.
