Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Dakota County will meet on Aug. 4, 2020, at or after 9 a.m., via telephone or other electronic means if necessary due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and will continue to do so long as it is not practical or prudent to hold in-person meetings, for the purpose of conducting a public hearing regarding the issuance by the Dakota County Community Development Agency (CDA) of its housing development revenue bonds in a principal amount of approximately $12,000,000 (Bonds) to finance the development of a qualified housing development project (Development) expected to be located in West St. Paul.
The Development will provide affordable rental housing for low and moderate income households. The Bonds will be secured by, and expected to be paid from, revenues of the Development and will be further secured by a pledge of the County's full faith and credit.
Updated information on the manner of the public meeting can be found on the Dakota County website. The public hearing may be monitored via live stream.
Interested persons attending the public hearing shall have the right to provide written or oral comments during the public hearing. The public may submit comments for the public hearing via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. You may also present comments during the public hearing by the telephone or other electronic means. Persons wishing to make comments during the public hearing should notify the Clerk to the Board via email at email@example.com or 651-438-4417. Requests must be received by noon the day before the meeting. Instructions on how to participate will be sent to anyone interested.
