Dakota County will restore and enhance 325 acres of woodland, wetland and prairie at Whitetail Woods over the next several years.
Funding for this project was provided from the Outdoor Heritage Fund to restore, protect and enhance Minnesota's wetlands, prairies, forests and habitat for fish, game and wildlife. Go to project map.

Spring through fall 2016-2018: Prairie and savanna areas prepared and seeded, invasive herbaceous species managed throughout project area
2018-2019: Continued management of invasive species. Prescribed burns in prairie, savanna and oak woodland units
