Call for submissions
Local artists and art organizations are invited to submit proposals for programs and performances for Arts in the Park, a community arts awareness and education event in Dakota County.
This event fosters awareness of art organizations and individual artists working in, living in or serving Dakota County. Reimbursement of up to $200 will be offered to persons or art groups to lead, perform or teach high-quality and hands-on art projects in a public, family-friendly outdoor setting.
If submission is approved, each individual or organization should be prepared to supply a booth (or tent/table) and any needed supplies. An indoor sound system will be made available. Outdoor performances must be prepared to bring their own equipment. Electricity, access to running water, and covered and indoor spaces are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
