***Currently, our mountain bike trail patrol program is full. We are not seeking additional team members for 2019.
- Minimum age 16 years
- Good physical fitness and customer service skills
- Adult/Child CPR Certification
- Basic First Aid Certification
Intermediate riding skill level
- Must provide own bike and helmet
- Completion of all required training
(Volunteers must complete all training before working as patrol.)

CPR & First Aid Certification
Current certification in Adult/Child CPR & Basic First Aid through October 2019 is required. Volunteers may seek and register for certification programs on their own, and Dakota County Parks will provide reimbursement for the cost or the volunteer may attend the scheduled certification programs listed below at no cost. Certification must be completed by Dec. 31, 2018 to be eligible to volunteer.
The Volunteer Mountain Bike Patrol team is a one year commitment: Nov. 1-Oct. 31. Volunteers are asked to commit to 30 hours per year, including one special event.
